Have to say we were pretty disappointed in it honestly.  Although the Majority of the bands all played their hearts out and rocked the roof off of the place, Planet Avalon itself was a HUGE let down.  The venue was well built, but poorly ran.  They didn't promote for the show themselves at all, and at 11pm they cut the last act short.  What kind of Venue would do that?  Seriously unprofessional and unacceptable.  Furthermore, The majority of the people that came to the show were people that traveled from other areas to see it, not very many Decatur locals came out to hear new music or show any support.  There is definitely room for improvement as far as Decatur's support for the local music scene goes.  We had been warned to avoid playing Decatur, but had faith that maybe the bad experiences were isolated instances.  Unfortunately we can not confirm that theory at this time.  However, we would like to thank Apathy Disorder for bringing a killer set and opening the show strong, and Casket Kids for closing the night strong and remaining dignified when it came to how the venue handled the situation at the end.  That place doesn't even realize how lucky it was that you guys gave them a chance to begin with.

On a lighter note, we brought 10 T-shirts to sell at this show, only expecting to sell maybe one or two, and we ended up selling 9!  The only reason why the last one didn't sell was because we ran out of black shirts and only had the white one left.  We are definitely going to be getting more merch to sell at our next show!  And don't worry, we are still going to keep our prices low.  $5-$7 dollars per shirt.  Probably will sell stickers and patches for $1 each if we can get them by the 16th.

Also, there was another promoter at this show that we were unaware of until afterwards, and he said he wants to set us up to play a show with The Flatliners, who are on tour right now and will be coming through here later in the year.  That's amazing!
